On this fabulous dance-themed river cruise you'll experience all
the romantic scenery of the Seine, in northern France, and visit
Normandy's fascinating and picturesque towns, including
Caudebec-en-Caux, Vernon and Rouen - famous for its links to Joan
Normandy is celebrated for its rich cuisine, from creamy cheeses
and silky chocolate to the cider and calvados produced by its
orchards. Rouen, the 2,000-year-old capital of Normandy, was
recently named Unesco City of Gastronomy 2021, and you'll be able
to try all these mouthwatering specialities while you're there.
This beautiful historical city is made up of church towers and
half-timbered houses, but it's probably most famous as the place
where national hero Johanna of Orléans, aka Joan of Arc, met her
end - being burned at the stake in 1431.
You'll also cruise to pretty Les Andelys and Caudebec-en-Caux,
passing blooming meadows and dense forests, and peaceful Vernon,
where you can have a wander through Claude Monet's famous garden or
in the elegant park of the Château de Bizy.
The grand finale to your holiday will be two nights in Paris,
France's glittering capital. You'll have time to explore its iconic
sights, elegant boulevards and classy cafes, but the highlight will
be a dance masterclass and demo on board your ship, with the option
to join in, led by Shirley Ballas, Strictly Come Dancing's
head judge and a world renowned Latin dance champion.
She'll show you how to perfect your moves, with the option of
joining in, and give an exclusive talk about her career - with
plenty of behind-the-scenes secrets from Strictly!
