Day1Fly to BergenBergen, Norway
You will fly direct from the UK to the pretty Norwegian port of Bergen, famous for its colourful wooden wharfs, where you will board your home for the next 11 nights, MS Trollfjord.
Day2Majestic mountains & fjordsÅlesund, Norway
Today you'll have time to explore Alesund, famous for its stylish Art Nouveau architecture.
Optional excursion: enjoy a scenic drive that takes in the spectacular views from the top of Mount Aksla.
You will visit the city of Trondheim, a former Viking trading post and Norway's first capital.
Optional excursion: a visit to the country's most famous church, Nidaros Cathedral. The Cathedral is built over the burial site of Saint Olav, the 11th-century king of Norway.
Day4Cross the Arctic CircleBod, Norway
Today you'll cross the Arctic Circle for the first time. Join the crew on deck to mark the occasion. Tonight, listen to a fascinating on-board talk explaining the science behind the Northern Lights.
Optional excursions: a nature hike in beautiful Bodo.
You will have more chances to see the Northern Lights as you sail north towards Tromso, known as the 'capital of the Arctic'. Today our special guest Julia Bradbury will give an exclusive talk and Q&A on board the ship.

Day6North CapeNordkapp, Norway
You'll enjoy incredible views form Nordkapp, the northernmost point in Europe, as you continue your journey through the snow-covered homelands of the Sami people.
Day7See the SnowhotelKirkenes, Norway
You will be joined by Julia Bradbury today for a fantastic excursion to visit the famous sculpted ice rooms of the Snowhotel in Kirkenes, have a drink at the Ice Bar and then meet the huskies and reindeer at nearby Gabba Reindeer Park.
Day8Hammerfest & TromsoHammerfest, Norway
Today's highlights will include the pretty waterfront buildings of colourful Hammerfest and views from your ship of the snow-capped Lyngen Alps.
Optional excursions: a midnight concert in Tromso's Arctic Cathedral.
Day9Lofoten IslandsLofoten Islands, Norway
Today you'll visit the islands of Lofoten and Vesteralen, which are among the most beautiful in Norway.
Optional activities: explore Vesteralen's medieval past.
Day10Bodo to RorvikBodo, Norway
Keep an eye out today for the Seven Sisters mountain range and the distinctive shape of Torghatten, the 'mountain with a hole in it'.
Day11Trondheim & AlesundTrondheim, Norway
You will return to the Royal City of Trondheim.
Optional activities: going on a fascinating trip to the magnificent marble mine at Bergtatt.
Day12Fly home from BergenBergen, Norway
After breakfast, you will disembark MS Trollfjord and be transferred to the airport for your direct flight home.

The MS Trollfjord is a comfortable yet sleek vessel, decked out in Norwegian wood and natural stone. Named after the Trollfjord in Lofoten, the ship provides plenty of spots for watching the spectacular scenery along your journey.

Decks and cabins
Expedition Suite: Situated on the upper deck, Expedition suites are the most lavish cabins on MS Trollfjord, with seperate seating areas and en suites showers. The larger Expedition suites feature more facilities, such as a private balcony or bathtub. All cabins come complete with complimentary cabins kits, bathrobes and slippers.
Arctic Superior: These cabins are on both the upper and middle decks and are equipped with en suite showers. Arctic Superior cabins mostly feature seperate beds, one of which converts into a sofa. Very few feature double beds. Arctic Superior cabins are complete with tea and coffee-making facilites.
Polar Inside: The Polar Inside cabins are mostly located on the middle or lower decks. All cabins include en suite showers. Most Polar Inside cabins feature seperate beds, one of which converts into a sofa, or upper and lower berths.
Polar Outside: These cabins are mostly located on the middle or lower decks of MS Trollfjord. Cabins of varying size have individual specfications but all feature an en suite shower. Most Polar Outside cabins include seperate beds, or upper and lower berths.
