Should I be worried about booking a holiday?

Any holidays booked through the Mail on Sunday are financially protected by the tour operator operating the tour, either through ABTA, AITO, ABTOF, TTA (or similar) and/or ATOL, meaning the government's travel financial protection schemes will refund you should travel restrictions prevent you from going or cause the trip to be cancelled.

I've booked a holiday. Can I cancel or postpone it?

Please make contact with the tour operator with whom your booking has been made, to discuss your booking. You will be able to find information relating specifically to cancellations or rebooking options on the operators' website. Alternatively, contact information can be found on your confirmation invoice.

Who can I speak with to discuss my booking?

If you have any concerns about a trip you have booked though us, please contact the operator as above.

What happens if my holiday is cancelled?

If your holiday has to be cancelled the operator will be in contact with you to discuss your options.

Is it safe to book for next year?

At the moment it looks likely that the COVID-19 infection rate will peak within the next three months, and then drop off during summer. Trips departing in 2021 are unlikely to be affected. However, it's important to continually check the Foreign Office's guidance on travelling to your chosen destination.
